The two main components of Vocabulary is writing and pronunciation of words.
In the first lesson on how to write Vietnamese, you would learn how to write Vietnamese alphabet and tones. You would learn that the Vietnamese Alphabet is Latin-based and thus having much similarity with the English Alphabet. You would also get to learn how to write the Vietnamese alphabet letters that don't exist in English.
The lesson on Vietnamese pronunciation would then guide you through the pronunciation of the Vietnamese Alphabets and tones with concrete examples and pronunciation videos. It would also provide you with references to online dictionaries and other materials that would help you pronounce new Vietnamese words correctly.
Upon finishing these 2 concise lessons, you'll have everything you need to begin learning Vietnamese words on your own: you would be able to understand what's written in newspapers, online news sites or anywhere. You would know where to look up new words and how to pronounce new words correctly by yourself.
